(Library) Card & Craft Drop-In Event

September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month, and we're celebrating here at the Fort Mill Public Library. All members of the family are invited to drop in on Saturday, September 6th between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM for "Card & Craft." You'll have the opportunity to sign up for library cards to access all 5 of York County's library branches as well as additional libraries within the SC Lends system and take part in doing some library and book-related crafts. Even if you already have a library card, you're welcome to stop in and take part in the crafts. Everyone is also welcome to come learn more about what our public library can do for you and take part in a photo opportunity. We'll also have raffles just for coming and participating. 

There is no registration for this event. Simply drop into the Meeting Room between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 6th. 

This program aligns with YCL's Information & Media Literacy framework, which addresses the ability to seek, evaluate, use, and create information effectively to achieve personal, social, occupational and educational goals. Additionally, having a framework to access, analyze, evaluate, create, and participate with messages in a variety of forms, having an understanding of the role of media in society, along with the essential skills of inquiry and self-expression.
