Event Details

Join us at the Clover Public Library for a fun winter cookie decorating event designed for children and teens! Learn simple icing techniques, play with colorful sprinkles, and create your own edible sugar cookie masterpieces to take home. Water and all supplies are provided - just bring your creativity and a sweet tooth! 

*Because this is a food program, please let us know in advance of any food allergies.

This program aligns with YCL’s food literacy framework, which addresses the ability to understand the impact of food choices on health, the environment, and the economy. 

This program aligns with YCL’s arts & creativity literacy framework, which addresses the ability to understand art history, styles, techniques, the ways to discuss art, and learning through creative expression, creative activities, visualization, and creative thinking.

This program aligns with YCL’s social and emotional literacy framework, which addresses the ability to “read,” recognize, and respond appropriately to emotions and feelings in oneself and in others; likewise, learning how to build and maintain respectful relationships.

Registered participants can expect a confirmation text prior to the event to confirm their attendance. This is to give waitlisted attendees a chance to attend in the event someone on the main list is unable to attend.
