Event Details
Join us for an afternoon of STEM fun as we complete a series of simple science experiments! All materials provided, open to ages 6-11. Please register each child individually as space is limited. Register online or call (803) 684-3751, starting August 26th.
This program aligns with YCL’s arts and creativity literacy framework, which addresses the ability to understand art history, styles, techniques, the ways to discuss art and learning through creative expression, creative activities, visualization, and creative thinking; YCL’s information and media literacy framework, which addresses the ability to seek, evaluate, use, and create information effectively to achieve personal, social, occupational, and educational goals; and YCL’s social and emotional literacy framework, which addresses the ability to “read,” recognize, and respond appropriately to emotions and feelings in oneself and in others; likewise learning how to build and maintain respectful relationships.
