Event Details

Homeschool families, please come and join us for the Homeschool Hangout! It offers an opportunity for parents to exchange ideas and discover how the library can support their child's educational journey.  Kids can get together for learning, socializing, and family-related activities.  The program will not be structured.   Registration is required, starting November 26. Ages 6-11, accompanied by an adult. Storytime will be located in the Williams Family Library, located at 600-614 Withers Building, Winthrop University, Room 322-B . Please park in the gravel parking lot on the corner of Myrtle Drive and Charlotte Avenue. Enter the Withers Building from the Myrtle Drive entrance and follow the signs to the 3rd floor. 

This program aligns with YCL's family literacy framework, which addresses the ability to incorporate whole families into activities between parent and child in order to build formative development skills.
