It's movie time at the Fort Mill Public Library! Please join us for a showing of April and the Extraordinary World, about a young woman searching for her missing family in a steampunk alternate world. This movie is provided by Kanopy, a free streaming service available through the York County Library with your library card.
Come by for a snack and a complimentary handout featuring more steampunk tales available through YCL.
After the movie, our virtual services librarian will demonstrate how to install the Kanopy app on your devices, including a smart tv, so that you can stream your own movies at home or anywhere with an internet connection and a screen.
This program aligns with YCL’s arts and creativity literacy framework, which addresses the ability to understand art history, styles, techniques, the ways to discuss art, and learning through creative expression, creative activities, visualization, and creative thinking.
