Program Description

Event Details

The South Carolina Bar has partnered with public libraries across the state to offer the Law Talk program. Law talks are free education events open to the public. Attorney Kelly C. Johnson of Lakeside Law in Fort Mill will be giving a presentation on Family Law followed by a Q & A session. This program will provide general legal education on Family Law topics such as marriage, alimony, divorce, custody, children, child support, and visitation. Ms. Johnson will not be able to comment or advise on specific cases.

Ms. Johnson will provide an overview of what to expect throughout the Family Court process, debunking some common misconceptions along the way. She will also share additional resources and information for individuals who would like to know when and how to start the process or for anyone just "asking for a friend".

Registration is suggested, but walk-ins are welcome. Register online or call (803) 981-5825, starting April 2.
