Creature Characters of the City

Learn about how urban wildlife makes themselves at home with Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation.  This hands-on program features live animals, touchable biofacts, stories, and activities. Ages 6-11. Register online or call 803-981-5888, starting September 26. Limit 30. 

This program aligns with YCL's arts and creativity literacy framework, which addresses the ability to understand art history, styles, techniques, the ways to discuss art, and learning through creative expression, creative activities, visualization, and creative thinking.
