Event Details

Teens and caregivers are invited to join us for an exciting online tools showcase at the Main Library in Rock Hill! Dive into the free online resources the library offers with an information session including a demonstration and answers for your questions! This event will be attendee-driven, with patrons choosing which topics will be covered. Snacks provided.

Topics include tools for: 

  • FASFA
  • Scholarships
  • Apprenticeships
  • Financial management, such as buying a car or renting an apartment for the first time
  • College placement and credits tests
  • Overview of eBooks and comics on hoopla and Libby

Registration is highly encouraged, though not required.

This program aligns with YCL’s digital and data literacy framework, which addresses the ability to access, manage, understand, integrate, communicate, evaluate and create information and data safely and appropriately through digital technologies for employment and entrepreneurship.
