Event Details

Virtual Services Librarian Carol Nicol will be at the Lake Wylie Public Library for a patron-led demonstration of tools dealing with planning for college or a first job. Attendees will choose from the list of topics, then the librarian will demonstrate the virtual tools that will help with the topic and answer any questions.

Potential topics include tools for: 

  • studying for PSAT/SAT/CLEP or other exams
  • exploring career options, including apprenticeships or internships
  • financial aid/FASFA
  • buying a first car, renting an apartment, managing a bank account, or budgeting for expenses

Registration is highly encouraged, though not required.
