Event Details

Join author, retired college professor and nationally recognized shark tooth and shelling expert Dr. Ashley Oliphant for this interactive adult presentation. Most expert fossil and seashell hunters hold their secrets very close to the vest, but Dr. Oliphant will share all that she knows, including specific hunting locations and strategies for finding even the most rare fossils and seashells all over the Eastern Seaboard. 

Participants will learn where to hunt, how to hunt, and how to identify species. 

Afterward, she will sign her books, take questions from the audience, and open her pop-up fossil shop, which includes very exciting fossils and seashells collected during her excursions, including megalodon and great white shark teeth.
