Separation & Divorce in Genealogy (new date)

This class was originally scheduled for July 25 and has been moved to July 17. Occasionally in our genealogy research we suspect an ancestor who separated from their spouse, or a couple had divorced. With options limited for ending a marriage, how did our ancestors resolve their situation? We'll look at the records that provide clues to separations and abandonment, the early history of divorce, and how to uncover divorce records of our ancestors.  Wednesday, July 17, 5:00 p.m., Main Library (Rock Hill).
