Spooky Family Story Time

Join us for a spoooooky family story time featuring Halloween themed stories, songs, and activities. All ages welcome, stories geared toward ages 3-10. Costumes encouraged! Registration recommended but not required. Register online or by calling 803-684-3751 beginning October 11th. 

This program aligns with YCL’s family literacy framework, which addresses the ability to incorporate whole families into activities between parents and children in order to build formative developmental skills; YCL’s information and media literacy framework, which addresses the ability to seek, evaluate, use, and create information effectively to achieve personal, social, occupational, and educational goals; and YCL’s social and emotional literacy framework, which addresses the ability to “read,” recognize, and respond appropriately to emotions and feelings in oneself and in others; likewise learning how to build and maintain respectful relationships.
