Embark on a colorful journey of creativity and imagination with our "Paint With a Librarian" program, where child and adult both get to explore the wonderful world of art guided by a friendly librarian. In March, we will listen to a monster-themed story while having a snack and then create silly monster paintings using different painting techniques. Ages 5-11, accompanied by an adult. Limit 15. Register online or call (803) 547-4114 starting on Saturday, March 8th.
This program aligns with YCL's arts and creativity literacy framework, which addresses the ability to understand art history, styles, techniques, the ways to discuss art, and learning through creative expression, creative activities, visualization, and creative thinking.
