Tom Kilkenny from Weiss Financial will be joining us on Zoom to present information about their Medigap tool available through the library.

Join us in the Meeting Room at the Main Branch in Rock Hill or join the Zoom meeting from anywhere with an internet connection using your own computer using the following link https://us06web.zoom.us/j/89745511103?pwd=7kFRLZR7bRKbIvuR34FTRr4SCf9lkm.1

No registration is required, but if you are joining the meeting in the library, please make sure to arrive by 10am to avoid interrupting the meeting in process.  Doors to the meeting room will open 10 minutes before the event.

However you choose to join us, you will learn how to create an individually customized Medigap coverage report, based on your age, gender and zip code.  Filled with need-to-know information, this customized report is written in an easy-to-follow style and provides all the information you will need to:

  • Learn what Medicare does and does not cover.
  • Help you decide whether to fill the gaps in coverage with a Medicare Advantage Plan
or combine Medicare Supplement Insurance with Medicare Benefits.
  • Pick a Medicare Supplement Insurance Plan that is right for you; all Medicare Supplement Insurance Plans (A-N) are       explained in detail, what is covered under each plan, which plans are available in your area, and how to switch policies.
  • Compare Rates for each Medicare Supplement Insurance Plan customized for your specific circumstances.
  • Find out which insurers are recommended and which companies to avoid. Insurers are ranked by their Weiss Financial
Strength Rating, so you can be sure you are selecting the best companies.
  • Find an authorized agent; contact information and phone numbers are provided for each insurer in your area, to make   selecting an insurer quick and easy.

This program aligns with YCL’s financial literacy framework, which addresses the ability to develop knowledge, behaviors, systems, team, and plan to confidently take effective action that best fulfills an individual’s personal, family, and global community goals.
