York Stitchers

Have a crochet, embroidery, knitting, or other needlework project you're working on? Interested in meeting other stitchers to share tips and experiences while we work? Join our drop-in stitching group! All skill levels are welcome. Patrons should bring their own supplies.

This program aligns with YCL's arts and creativity literacy framework, which addresses the ability to understand art history, styles, techniques, the ways to discuss art, and learning through creative expression, creative activities, visualization, and creative thinking.  This program aligns with YCL's social and emotional literacy framework, which addresses the ability to "read", recognize, and respond appropriately to emotions and feelings in oneself and in others; likewise, learning how to build and maintain respectful relationships.
