A group of adventurers, seeking to socialize and learn from each other, increasing our knowledge and experience of empathy and creative problem-solving in a fantasy role-playing environment.

A book club where we meet to discuss books in a variety of genres, both fiction and non-fiction, and learn by sharing information and opinion.

PLEASE NOTE: Under 3 Storytime in both June and July is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED seating. No registration is required. Once capacity is reached, no more parents, caregivers, and children will be allowed in the room.

We will have a Master Gardener available to answer questions and offer gardening suggestions every first and third Tuesday of the month that the library is open from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in our lobby, April through September.

Join nationally recognized shark tooth and shelling expert Dr. Ashley Oliphant for an awesome interactive children’s workshop that teaches participants how to hunt, where to hunt, and identify species.

Drop in any time between 1pm & 3pm to explore a new medium at the library: In June we will create sculptures, and in July we’ll work on weaving! Ages 6-11 accompanied by an adult. No registration required.

In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Friends of the York County Library, the Fort Mill Public Library has invited award-winning bestselling author Amy Clipston to speak on her new book Second Chance at Sunshine Inn.
