DESCRIPTION:Join nationally recognized shark tooth and shelling expert Dr.
  Ashley Oliphant for an awesome interactive children’s workshop that tea
 ches participants how to hunt, where to hunt, and identify species. The se
 ssion will include a show-and-tell of shark, whale, and dinosaur fossils, 
 along with many species of seashells. The group will learn about how fossi
 ls are formed and explore what it means to be a responsible beachcomber wh
 o protects wildlife and preserves the natural environment. The hour will c
 onclude with a 10-minute fossil dig, and attendees will get to keep the se
 ashells and shark teeth that they find. Afterward, Dr. Oliphant will sign 
 her book “Shark Tooth Hunting on the Carolina Coast,” take questions f
 rom the group, and open her pop-up fossil shop, which includes low-cost (b
 ut still super cool) fossils from all over the country. Children ages 5-1
