Event Details

Come in and play a few games of chess. While we may not always have someone available to teach beginners, all skill levels are welcome! Chess sets will be provided. Please register in advance.  We want to make certain there will be folks who want to play.

This program aligns with YCL’s social and emotional literacy framework, which addresses the ability to “read,"recognize, and respond appropriately to emotions and feelings in oneself and in others; likewise, learning how to build and maintain respectful relationships.

Register online or call 803-981-5825, beginning July 19.  Limit 26. Registration is strongly requested to make sure we have enough chess sets and can reach you in case of a sudden cancellation.
