Event Details

Calling all wiggly giggly itty-bitty bookworms! Join us for stories, songs, and activities for children ages birth through 3 and their caregivers. Spring Session I will begin on March 4th and will run through April 1st--a total of five story time meetings. Register online or call (803) 684-3751, starting February 18th. 

This program aligns with YCL’s family literacy framework, which addresses the ability to incorporate whole families into activities between parents and children in order to build formative developmental skills; YCL’s information and media literacy framework, which addresses the ability to seek, evaluate, use, and create information effectively to achieve personal, social, occupational, and educational goals; and YCL’s social and emotional literacy framework, which addresses the ability to “read,” recognize, and respond appropriately to emotions and feelings in oneself and in others; likewise learning how to build and maintain respectful relationships.
