Event Details

Calling all wiggly giggly preschool bookworms! Join us for stories, songs, and activities for children ages 3-5 and their caregivers. Fall Session II will begin on November 3rd and will run through December 15th--a total of seven story time meetings. Register online or call (803) 684-3751, starting October 20th. 

This program aligns with YCL’s family literacy framework, which addresses the ability to incorporate whole families into activities between parents and children in order to build formative developmental skills; YCL’s information and media literacy framework, which addresses the ability to seek, evaluate, use, and create information effectively to achieve personal, social, occupational, and educational goals; and YCL’s social and emotional literacy framework, which addresses the ability to “read,” recognize, and respond appropriately to emotions and feelings in oneself and in others; likewise learning how to build and maintain respectful relationships.
