Stories from the Streets

This is a workshop for writers of any skill level, and housed or unhoused!!  Facilitated by Matt Shaw of Speak Up Magazine, a publication written by people facing homelessness.  Mr. Shaw will lead discussion and offer writing prompts to help get the creative thoughts flowing.  

This program aligns with YCL’s arts and creativity literacy framework, which addresses the ability to understand art history, styles, techniques, the ways to discuss art, and learning through creative expression, creative activities, visualization, and creative thinking.

A notebook and pen will be provided.  Join us for some free flowing conversation in a judgement-free zone.  No registration required.  Limit 20 people.
